Do you know the saying: “once a year the stick shoots?” This story is perfectly characterized by this saying.
In Queensland, Australia, one of the diggers, who wished to remain anonymous, was walking with a metal detector. Judging by the type of device he had – a Minelab GPX 5000 – he was walking with one purpose – to search for native gold. Otherwise, there is nothing to look for in the Australian wilds, there is no history there, the land is empty, no metal. This means that the story is not at all random and the place was also chosen with a certain approach in order to get the maximum result.
First, he found one small nugget (worth about $4,000 Australian), was very happy, but quickly overcame his feelings, returned to the place of discovery, and literally after a couple of steps an even larger nugget popped out!
The nugget weighed more than a kilogram and was located at a depth of about 15 cm. Kopar says that it was quite difficult to dig it up, because it was covered with some plants, apparently they were digging in the roots.
More than anyone else, after this digger, who found two nuggets in one go (one quite large), was a local metal detector dealer (pictured above)! What else – now a lot of people will run to him to buy gold-mining equipment in order to try to get rich as quickly as this guy unknown to anyone. He made a good advertisement – he took a photo with the nugget in front of his rack.
Unfortunately, not in all countries you can find gold in the ground, but on our beaches and mass gatherings of people, there should be gold rings and earrings, and this is also, albeit small, but money! No worries, comrades!
