Cop on a village plot (Competitive story of a digger!)

Hello!

It was about 4 years ago, I had a friend who was drinking heavily, and one day he told me that he had an old house in a village in the Volosovsky district of the Leningrad region. Of course, I was interested in this and I invited him to drive there, he said, take me some booze and let’s go. The village turned out to be small, from the 30s, along the road there were only 8 houses, but all of them were residential, we arrived in the evening, the house was ordinary from the outside, but inside there were a lot of old things: icons, old furniture, photos of relatives in frames under glass, etc., like in village houses. Yura, that was the name of the acquaintance, a good-natured man, sat down to drink vodka, and he allowed me to dig in his yard, because it was already getting dark, I put on a flashlight and went to wave the device in a small garden. The finds pleased me and I realized that I had not come in vain. After wandering around a bit, I came across a bunch of shmurdyak, early advice, a couple of spoons – one old copper, an initial ring, 2 royal coins, but the main find was waiting for me ahead.

I decided to take a little break and went into the house, drank tea, showed Yura the finds, but they did not surprise him, because he was indifferent to our hobby. I said that I would go dig some more and went out into the yard, it was already dark, but it scared me, moving along the house, waving the reel, a good signal sounded under the window, I stuck a shovel into the ground, after a while something sparkled there. Having dug around the object, I realized that it was a samovar, my heart began to beat faster, because this could be a treasure, I thought. When I took it out, it turned out to be slightly dented, but still my joy knew no bounds, because it’s not every day that you find a samovar in the ground. The inside of the samovar turned out to be empty, but this happens in our hobby and there is no need to despair.

In the morning, Yura allowed me to explore the attic, there I discovered interesting finds that he gave me, for which I am grateful to him. It was a stove door – a Roman chariot, a steelyard from 1905, a couple of interesting bottles.

In general, we had a good time, don’t judge strictly, I’m writing, one might say, for the first time, to give everyone a shout out.
