Destroy $9 million worth of detectors? How Minelab destroys counterfeit devices (photo for crying out loud+)

China is ahead of the rest. The Chinese can easily take something and copy it once or twice, but the quality of such crafts will be at a very low level and very far from the original. And it’s okay to counterfeit the same phones that are made in China, but the Chinese don’t yet know how to make highly professional equipment, like metal detectors, and they won’t learn how to do that for years. There is no understanding of technology and relevant skills, and there is also no production culture at the proper level. 🙂 Therefore, if you see a device and doubt its originality — It’s better to double-check everything several times; a mistake will cost you wasted money and nerves. Buying cheap doesn’t always mean it’s profitable, sometimes it means an extra headache and bitter tears at the first breakdown.

One reader from the Middle East sent in some interesting information. It turns out that Minelab has its own representative office in the Middle East and they are actively supplying various of their developments to African countries — devices for searching for native gold. Naturally, every Chinese wants to get his own small percentage of such transactions and deceive the careless black inhabitants of the African continent, which is what happens.

It seems similar to Minelab, but it’s not. Just Chinese cheap fakes. It was just such a bunch of counterfeits worth (oh vey!!) $9 million, yes, nine million dollars, that were destroyed in the Middle East by representatives of the Middle East office of the Australian company Minelab. It’s scary to see, but it’s true! I don’t know, they could at least keep the boxes and make production a little cheaper. 🙂

They destroyed it in every possible way, even a hammer was caught in the photo. Very effective — hammer on the device!

In general, even from the inscription GPX-4500 it is clear that it was written in a purely Chinese font.

Comrades! Don’t fall for fakes, there is no benefit in buying a fake, there will only be problems. 🙂 It’s like buying a Zaporozhets with a BMW nameplate and shouting that you bought a real BMW. Based on all the characteristics, it will be clear that you have purchased a fake, which will not bring you any pleasure. More vigilance and good luck at the end of the digging season!

And I collect all the news on my blog here — I also wrote about counterfeits, Quest Pro detectors from Deteknix turned out to be a 1:1 copy of T2 from Teknetics! Creep…
