Metal detector Golden Mask Svarog – our review! (photos and tips+)

Appearance and equipment

It's time to talk about the metal detector from the Golden Mask company – SVAROG. The design of the device is designed in Russian-Slavic style. All adjustments of the control unit are signed in Russian and are made in the color of the Russian flag.

In the center of the block is the Slavic god Svarog and the name of the device: “SVAROG”. The control unit has the following adjustments:

Like other metal detectors from this company, they are compact, simple and easy to use. Thanks to the telescopic rod, SVAROG is quickly brought into the “combat” or transport position.

Setting up a search device and how to perform a ground balance

Setting up the device for searching is also not difficult or difficult:

• turn on the device by turning the resistor to the right “on/off/volume”;
• turn the “feel” to maximum;
• we push the “ground balance” all the way to + and swing the device in a vertical position from the ground, we begin to move the BG until the sound is uniform, regardless of approaching or moving away from the ground;
• we set the “feeling” to the search mode we need with or without a light trash hold;
• The “discrimination” mode is optimally set to 7 to 9 hours;

Note: measurements with clear signals were taken into account.

Cop experience with the device and findings

I would like to share with you my impressions of the Golden Mask Svarog device.

At the time of purchase, I already had experience with the operation of devices from this company. Since Golden Mask 4 Pro 18 kHz is available. The metal detector Svarog came to me with the following equipment:
– telescopic rod;
– a set of batteries (10 pcs, 2600 mAh each);
-frequency 8 kHz;
– search sensor 10.5′.

Arriving at the dig, I took out a compact, complex device from my backpack, which is definitely a good thing when transporting it. In a matter of seconds, Svarog was brought into a “combat” position and all this thanks to a telescopic rod. The device fits like a glove in your hand due to its good weight distribution and comfortable handle. turned on the device, adjusted to the ground, set the “feel” to a slight “trash”, set the “discrimin” to around 7 o’clock and set out to search. After a couple of minutes, the device informed with a clear sound about the “colored” target. After digging a little, a cross caught my eye. I was very pleased with this find with my new device! After spending an hour with SVAROG, I realized that the device works well in a littered area thanks to the lightning-fast response from the target, and the frequency of 8 kilohertz gives a fairly good detection depth. It was especially surprising that among a large amount of metal debris, the device found a scale about 10 cm deep.

After 3 hours of digging, there were very pleasant finds and positive impressions of the device. The device perfectly distinguishes targets at a good depth. The hand was not tired at all from the continuous search. I can confidently recommend this device as reliable, fast, and easy to use! He will delight you with his finds and leave you with only good impressions!

Results

To summarize, we can safely note that the SVAROG metal detector from the Golden Mask company is a reliable machine that is convenient and easy to use. And despite its simplicity, it has great potential and produces impressive results. This device can be recommended to both beginners and experienced search engines. The device also has a reasonable price, which makes it quite affordable. But despite its relatively low price, SVAROG is a tough competitor to metal detectors that are several times more expensive.
