New coil from Minelab (price $1500)

This Minelab is funny: either it closes the office, then it moves, or it releases mega-cheap stuff on the market that no one wants to buy. Exactly no one — I recently went to a local seller, there are rows of Go-Finds, the seller says that as he laid them out after receiving them, they are still there, they are not for sale at all. Now MineLab wants to return and recoup the money, but with a ? Coil for…. drumroll …..$1500! Yes, you read that right — 1500 dollars. What kind of sensor could this be for that kind of money?

The rumor started after a new product appeared on the website of one of the largest American MD dealers — coil from Minelab, 19 inches, priced at $1500. Then the product was quickly deleted, but the deft hands of session hunters managed to grab photos and information. How could this happen? Minelab sent the information, and the dealer accidentally put out a new coil, when it was discovered that the product had to be removed. What is known about the coil?

It is made using Super-D technology, supposedly the technology provides deeper target detection and a larger search area (well, with this size this is not surprising), the coil is waterproof up to 1 meter (at this price it could be waterproof up to 30 meters, IMHO), suitable for the GPZ 7000 device.

Well, funny rumor and stuff. MineLab now needs to clear their name and get everyone to hear about them again, so this move is not surprising. Hey, Mars MD and NEL, join the race, make a coil for GPZ 7000 at a retail price of $1200, let MineLab lose money again. 😉

Everyone have a great signal under the reel and I recommend watching cool videos on the cop, posted here!
