Recovering military equipment from the bottom of reservoirs is always an exciting and difficult undertaking, often involving large resources by many people.
An excellent quality video tells about the recovery of a rare example of the Soviet tank T-34-76 produced by the Stalingrad plant from the bottom of the Don River on July 14, 2016. Apparently the car was sunk by the crew so as not to leave it to the Germans. There was no crew inside the tank, although the machine guns and ammunition remained, it seems they simply didn’t have time to remove them.
