Greetings!
Finally, the new X35 reels have begun to appear in pre-sale. There are still a small number and they could be booked in advance in Europe, which is what we did. We decided to look at the largest reel for the XP Deus – 13″ DD.
The differences are immediately noticeable when you pick up the reel. Is it just me or has the plastic become different? Probably stronger and better plastic was used for production, because the difference is felt to the touch with the old black coils. But this is not the main thing – you need to see how the coil turned out in practice.
We conducted a depth test at our testing site – we buried 7 five-kopeck coins of the USSR, issued in 1981-1983. Very common and popular coins at that time, they are, however, quite large and thin, which means they can be buried deeper and tested to see how the signal disappears. They buried it to the following depths: 5 cm, 10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm, 30 cm, 35 cm. What came of it?
As you can see, the reel quite confidently reached the threshold of 30 cm, but at 35 cm it was a little short. But it’s okay, Deus is not considered the deepest metal detector, but it is the most versatile, light, compact and with good sensitivity to small details – it’s still considered!
The second part of this video shows a real cop with a coil and my impressions. It was very interesting to see the reel in action.
For those who, for one reason or another, cannot watch the video, and especially those who want to know our impressions of the reel.
I’ll say right away – the new coils work much more stable than the previous ones! If earlier it was that a 13″ coil with sensitivity settings of 85-87 or more began to produce noise in the field, now we went to 94! And no backgrounds!
This is, of course, a miracle! The coil is made surprisingly quiet and calm. It can be seen that a robotic machine was used in production; no human hand could achieve such precision.
One of the first and pleasant finds from X35 was a Denga from 1753 in a cleared field next to an old tavern. It came out from 20 cm, a very clear and stable signal.
And most importantly, what a stable and good signal it is. By the way, it is very interesting that the Pitch program has changed quite a lot in version 5.1. It shows a lot more targets in the ground than before, but we will check and see this again, we will write more later.
What can you say about the new reel? X35 has become very stable, works better on wet ground, and also gave a small, but increase in depth, compared to old coils, this is due to the ability to use higher sensitivity and coil current settings. We'll keep checking and provide more details over time!
No fluff!
