The first “redhead” on the beach! (Competitive story of a digger!)

Good day everyone!

I’ll tell you about how I dug on the beach. It was in 2016, my family and I went to visit Kazakhstan. Out of habit, I took with me  We brought our own metal detector, because we knew that where we were going there was a lake and a nice beach. I didn’t have much illusions about good finds, but I had a presentiment that there would be finds. The beach was relatively small, 200-250 meters long  and 20 meters wide. I thought I could finish it in a day. But that was not the case))).

I arrived at the beach around lunchtime, and that was a mistake. Although it was late spring, almost summer, the weather was not very warm, but there were people on the beach. As soon as I turned on the device and the “first wiring” began, a cacophony of sounds immediately began, since the settings for the device were made by “all metals”. I saw the people, perked up and began to show interest in me. Either fishermen, or children, or ordinary people,  everyone comes up and asks: — “What am I looking for?”, — “What is this thing?”, – “How much does it cost?”, – “I found a lot of gold?”, — “Let me try!!”…. and another 1000 questions, someone even suggested drinking vodka!))) The questions they ask seem to be screwed, but they surround you with a tight ring and don’t allow you to do the wiring properly, and when you start digging out the signal, they (mostly children) they crawl right under the shovel, you think about how not to harm them. As for the  signals, there were not just a lot of them, there were a LOT of them. Basically  Among the finds, these were corks, aluminum wire, foil, “tabs” from beer cans, fishing weights, … but there was also a walker, and late advice. In 3-4 hours I walked less than a third, or maybe a quarter, of the beach, and then I thought that I couldn’t cover it even in a week. The batteries had already begun to run low, and they were slowly losing strength, although the sand was easy to dig, but a lot of holes had been made.

The next day I arrived early, around 8 am, there were no people at all, except maybe a couple of fishermen in the distance, but they didn’t bother me at all. Turn on the device and go ahead. The signals were not getting smaller, so I decided to switch the device to the “first mask”, but it didn’t help much, since almost all the signals were color. And here  In general, only aluminum plugs “went”, but they still “beat” 28-32 VDI so temptingly, just like coins (mostly late advice). Well, I think that if there are still such signals, I won’t dig, but what told me that this particular signal needs to be dug. Next I will quote the text, the emotions that I experienced when I came across such a find

“…There are a lot of signals, there are also plenty of finds. The Soviets, the later ones, are all killed as always, the early ones are more or less alive. Walkers 223 tenge, shmurdyak and such a golden handsome. The signal was like an aluminum plug, I didn’t want to dig, well, I think if there’s a traffic jam again, I won’t dig such signals anymore, I dug and this handsome jumped out, really really‘ jumped out ’))))) threw the sand off the shovel, and there it was …. I NEARLY OH…..WHEN I SAW HIM, I HAVE NO LIMITS FOR JOY!!!!! ALL SUCH FINDS!”

It was a gold wedding ring, ready from the 60s – 70s, weighing 6.7 grams, the so-called barrel. When I dug it up, I didn’t even believe that this was possible, since it was the first such find, especially unexpected. For the first minutes I was even in a kind of ecstasy, these feelings are indescribable. These are the feelings a person experiences when he finds a treasure or something similar. Then for me this find was akin to finding a treasure. I wish everyone to experience such feelings. These feelings are very wonderful!
