Which fields are plowed all summer??? And where can such places be found???

Good mood to you, dear readers of our blog. Let's talk about three-fields today.

Do you know what this is??? This is a system of arable land turnover that has developed over centuries in central Russia. According to this system, the agricultural field must have three rotation cycles. Spring, winter and fallow crops. That is, once every three years the field must rest for the entire summer. It should, but it doesn’t have to, which we’ll talk about below.

The field is fallow, first plowed deeply to plow in the stubble and turn over the humus. Then, throughout the summer, the field is regularly disced (hulled) so that weeds do not grow, thereby not depleting the resting field. This is correct and this is what users of agricultural land should do. However…

However, it turned out that in our country for several years now there has been a program to subsidize agricultural producers based on the volume of arable land. In short, the essence was described to me by a farmer I know. “It’s beneficial for me to plow the field, fertilize it, sow it and then not have to clean it up. Because I clean the field at my own expense”

In general, what did this lead to? Moreover, everywhere and everywhere they began to forget about the three-field system. That once every three years the field should rest fallow. Instead, the fields are simply filled with massive amounts of fertilizer. What will come of this? Yes, nothing good. But so far few people care.

In the area where I live, this year one very tasty field was left fallow for the summer. And let it be that this field has been knocked out and groomed earlier. It's still very interesting. Especially for scales and other small plastics. There may not be any nickels or other large coins left there, but I know for sure a couple of places where every year they plow up the scales with a plow.

And also, as you can see in the photo, the field I walked through today is not sown. And I was very positive that this field would also be left for the whole summer. However, after talking with the tractor driver, it became clear that the rosy expectations turned out to be just expectations. In two days this field should be sown.

20 kopecks from 1825, when I took it out, my hands shook and my heart skipped a beat. Eh!!! Again bypass))) if the initials were NG, then such a coin would cost about 50 thousand rubles. And so, maximum one and a half thousand.
