Guys with balls of steel – digging for war (Digging Digest issue 4)
Many times during my digging I found various unexploded shells and other dangerous things lying in the ground. I would never even touch them, because who knows what in this rusty iron thing will work and happen in a second. Maybe nothing, or maybe everything will fly apart like a fart, all to the heavens and then the diggers will find only the detector bent and hanging on a branch.
I found some guys. They dig great, they dig huge trenches for war, but the abundance of artifacts found is already a little dazzled in the eyes, so I took from them something completely original, like from Mayakovsky: «and you could?». I’m definitely not! Who could? We take the found shell, spray WD-40 on the detonator (I’m my mother’s engineer), unscrew it and everyone is happy. I don’t know, maybe it was staged, but it was shot realistically. Let’s see:
Old video, but no less funny. A small digression. For some it’s a thrill, but for others it’s their first time seeing it. Have you ever used a search magnet? A guy using a magnet clips small change right in the fountain at VDNKh. Poor guy, apparently saving up for a new detector:
Have you ever found «a snag»? I mean a weapon, preferably a carbine or rifle. Everything that had been found until now was in, to put it mildly, not the best condition and literally crumbled in plain sight and when rising from the pit. But some people are lucky and find a barrel in good condition. These guys are lucky, if the video is really a dug carbine, then the find is class:
And sometimes someone on the mine finds very interesting compositions. For example, given: a German machine gun box, we lift it out of the pit, and what should be inside? Here I have only two options in my head: empty or cartridges. But no, the guys found a machine gun box with two pistols inside. An unusual find! That’s a cop!
Cool guys dug? I wish you the same cop! And if you have your own videos and finds, send them to me at hobby.detecting@gmail.com
I collect more video collections here, and I have posted all the interesting finds here. Read and comment!
