Recently, the guys from Garrett announced their new universal wireless audio module for Garrett Z-Lynk metal detectors. Copping with headphones and without wires is becoming more and more popular and, naturally, key manufacturers and suppliers of devices for our hobby will want to compete and have a strong foothold in the market, displacing various «left» sellers from China with their crafts. Even though Garrett was the first to announce it, this does not mean that he will be the first on the market. Alas, reality shows that even after announcing a development and showing its photos/videos, a lot of time passes before this product becomes available to diggers. At this point, Nokta is now burning out with Nokta Impact not released for a year, then XP Detectors with update 4.0 for Deus not released and the MI-6~60 pinpointer ~/strong> — the device was shown, but then everything died down!
However, intrigue arose. It recently became known that Minelab is preparing to announce and soon launch its own wireless audio module for metal detectors. It looks like the two giants will start a serious battle and time will tell with whose module we will walk through the fields and forests.

Minelab announced its wireless headphone module and called it Minelab PRO-SONIC.
