However, if you have already bought a pinpointer and «carrot» If you don’t want to lose more than 130 EUR, you have to get smart. Some are collective farmers, others are looking for ready-made solutions. I decided to go a different route.
I needed a multi-functional holder that I could use for both the pinpointer and the gun equally. To do this, it had to meet more serious requirements, be stronger, not tear and have no weak points. The presence of a platform and fastening to a belt made of hard plastic was simply necessary, so I went to a local gun dealer and bought a pistol cord from him for 15 EUR. The thing is powerful, strong, made to last for many decades.
Since I use a Garrett Pro Pointer AT pinpointer, which already had a hole with a ring, I decided to secure the second ring additionally in order to avoid all possible force majeure circumstances. The pinpointer mount turned out to be strong and no matter how I twisted and turned the pinpointer over my head — it did not come off in any way and the fastening did not deteriorate.
The second part of the cord goes to a plastic fastener, which is already attached to the belt, or as I did — directly to the pinpointer case. It holds, it’s reliable, I checked it personally.
Another option, cheaper, is to look for pistol cords on AliExpress. Write in the search for pistol strap and you will be happy in the region of $4-5. I ordered several pieces, looked at the difference, the quality is heaven and earth, of course, but if you need a simple and cheap solution, then you can take it from Ali and strengthen it yourself, but twist the carrot too much over your head. with such a Chinese cord I wouldn’t do it anymore.
