Minelab Gold Monster 1000 – a new device from an Australian company (photo, video+)

It seems that Minelab are starting to update their line of devices, partly this is good news, because only those who stand still do not sell. There have been rumors about the new metal detector from Minelab for a long time, everyone thought that there would be some further development of the X-Terra series, but it seems that the pursuit of the underdeveloped market of Africa and the Middle East is filling the minds of all large manufacturers.

Minelab Gold Monster 1000 replaces the old and famous Minelab Eureka Gold metal detector, the production of which is discontinued due to the release of a new product. Proof.

Farewell Eureka, 20 years of existence of this device were not in vain.

What will be in the new metal detector Minelab Gold Monster 1000?

According to the manufacturer, the new product operates on ultra-sensitive VLF technology and will have a set of rods and coils that can be configured at will and as you please. What does this mean — Let’s see, apparently the set of coils will be sufficient so that you can change the configuration and design of the device at your discretion and for specific purposes. The development of modular detectors is moving into the future. 🙂

The device is fully automatic, probably MineLab means by automaticity independent ground adjustment (ground balance) and sensitivity/threshold tone selection. The set includes 2 coils. Not bad!

It seems to me or the detector block is built on the Go-Find form factor? Why cut a new body if you can use a mold from Go-Find. It’s an interesting solution, as if Go-Find looks very modern in appearance, so it is possible that further devices from MineLab will be similar to devices in this series.

MSRP, the maximum selling price of the device, is $800.

The struggle of manufacturers for the African market is of little interest to us, let them compete with the new joint product of XP Detectors and Depar — a metal detector for searching for gold DPR-600, but for us it will be interesting when the X-Terra series will be updated, which has been performing well in finding coins for decades.

Proof of the news.
