I bought my first metal detector GARRETT ACE 200I in the spring. At the beginning of summer, I came to visit my grandmother in Kazakhstan on vacation. During the holidays, I talked with local old-timers and found out that near our village there was a settlement that was founded back in the 19th century. That night I could not sleep. As soon as dawn broke, I took my metal detector and went to the place indicated by the old-timers. Arriving at the site, I saw the remains of old foundations, I hastily set up the device and began the search. The first signal was not long in coming, it was an old pectoral cross, a meter from it I dug up horse meat and continued the search, but soon I almost stepped on a snake. It turned out that there are quite a lot of poisonous snakes in this area, which the local old-timers apparently forgot to warn me about, but the interest that had already gripped me could not stop me. I continued my search with caution. I walked for a long time from foundation to foundation and it seemed that luck had left me, but near the fruit tree I caught a clear signal, digging about half a bayonet I saw a dark coin roll out from the ground, rubbing it I saw a double-headed eagle – this was my first Empire . My joy knew no bounds. A little to the right there was a signal again and again successful it was 3 KOPEYKS in 1882. By this time the sun was already high and the heat was unbearable. I went home but I had an irresistible desire to return here again. So I practically “fell ill” with Cop and it became the main passion of my life.
