The Hermit's Manor (Competitive Digger's Story!)
On a cloudy August evening, I decided to go on another search. On the way, before reaching the treasured tract, my engine stalled. For an hour I tried to control my motorcycle, but to no avail. Having become completely upset, I no longer hoped to get to the place, suddenly behind me I heard the clatter of hooves, it was a local shepherd. A conversation began between us, after learning about my hobby, he told me a story that literally 100 meters from the road there was the house of a “hermit” who at the beginning of the twentieth century left the village and rebuilt his estate, where he lived with his wife. Having said goodbye to the shepherd, I went in the direction indicated to me. After walking a little, I saw a shaft, concluding that perhaps there was a vegetable garden here, I began the search. After walking a few meters I came across a burial pit, and soon I was pleased with a clear signal. Imagine my surprise when I dug out a tightly tied knot, it was he who gave the signal. Having torn apart the almost rotten fabric, I saw two ancient copper rings, a man’s and a woman’s, apparently these were the wedding rings of the owners. After walking a little more and catching another signal, I realized that it was a rather large object. At the depth of the bayonet, my shovel rested on something solid, I began to hastily dig, it turned out to be an old charcoal iron. A picture of the life of this family appeared in front of my image. After walking a little more, I came across various kinds of everyday objects and had already forgotten that my motorcycle was broken and I actually had nothing to get home with. I called a friend and waited for help. I returned home closer to midnight, tired, but very pleased with my new discovery.
