Sensitivity RT
RT sensitivity. By pressing the RT button we can get to RT adjustment mode. This setting lets you adjust the device’s threshold tone detection depth and sensitivity. In other words it is responsible for the detection depth with device’s threshold tone. So the higher this setting is, the deeper targets can be detected. When you move the coil above a target, the threshold tone gets louder. It is loudest straight above the target’s center. As you gain more experience with this device, combination of the tone, it’s length, volume increase, and identification signal will let you know more about the size and depths of your target, and even know if there are two targets detected with one signal. In most cases this parameter’s recommended value is 7 or 8. It is recommended to keep it little deeper than ST parameter. Then you will be able to hear identification signal as clear as the RT detection signal. Which will help you estimate the target’s size and depth.
