Silver placers and Our Lady Hodegetria (Competitive story of a digger!)
Whether it happened or not… I don’t remember. But it’s like spring is before our eyes now. There was a bright holiday that day – May 9, Victory Day over the brown reptile! The second season of instrumental search in my life began, and my friends and I gathered to search for countless treasures and various utensils from ancient times. Having examined and checked the overseas device X-Terra 705 and a reliable shovel, which is called a fiskar in our environment, I waited for the arrival of a chariot that would be passable everywhere and capable of delivering to distant tracts. That day had in store for us not much, not little, but two significant finds from different times. But in order. The day before we watched an apple roll on a saucer and a ball of wool point the way. And after these actions, several points were outlined and we intended to visit, if we had time, since the spring day was not particularly long. The time for the chariot came, people arrived, carried away by one thing, they plunged into them, they threw a ball in his wake, and our adventure began. Having left the boundaries of the capital city of our region, a wondrous picture opened up for the eyes and souls, yearning for fields, meadows, and clearings during the winter!
In some places you can still see snow, and where the grass is already green – last year’s grass has all died down, it will be good to search. The soul has turned around, singing to the fullest extent of the mother from the meeting with nature and the expectation – will the grandfather reveal the ancient secrets of the earth, will he give a piece of history to hold in his hands? Roads, mud, muddy roads – in a word, pulling out a chariot with a chariot and helping with our own strength, we reached the places cherished long ago abandoned by people. There are two verified places behind, but there is nothing to brag about yet… Ordinary finds, coins of no particular value, a couple of copper rings and a uniform button. Third stop. The tract is not big, there are maybe six courtyards, and it’s still about a kilometer to go. My brother fell behind a little (he drank some bitters that day), he went to rest, to unwind. Yes, it was not known that the grandfather had prepared something earthen for a rake))) so he was in no hurry to go anywhere, a shovel on his shoulder… He walks, sings songs, and rejoices in the spring forest. In general, we got there, but scattered in all directions – to conduct a search. There were finds, grandfather was pleased. Coins, all the same different rings, and other old things. Suddenly I heard my brother making a noise, singing songs… I’ll go, I think, and see what caused such a stormy flow of emotions. I walked and saw a cheerful man dancing in the middle of the clearing, but the bitter joy intensified. Well, I think they’ve arrived, otherwise the Koshchei dug up a chest) I approach. “Bragging, for what reason is unbridled joy?” – and he shows me a round piece, the size of two nickels for Catherine. We look, and there is the image of the Mother of God Hodegetria!
It's not a common thing, it's nice to keep it! No wonder the rake danced and sang songs. He congratulated his brother, and with white envy he went on searching for news. No, no, and I came across some other little things, but after my brother’s find, it didn’t bring me much joy) So the day began to come to an end, I had to get ready – the way to home was not close. They gathered at the chariots, drank tea, bragged about who found what to each other, and set off. But here's the problem! They forgot in the clearing where they were having tea with a saucer with an apple and a ball of guidance. There’s nothing to be done – we have to go back. The chariot went home alone, but luckily we hadn’t gone that far—it would be about ten versts, so we decided to return. And along the way they decided why everyone should run around here and there, and they landed on the road. They'll go back and pick it up. The area looked like it was a village, but the field was plowed and seemed graded. What can we do? We’ll look, but we didn’t go into the field. I think I'll start from the outskirts. The trees are young, some rare stones are visible, but not exactly the foundation. I turn on the device – I need to tune in, but I just carried out this action and here you have a controversial signal. Dig, don't dig… End of the day, I'll dig! And I don’t have much desire to crawl anymore, I’m tired during the day. Well, throw a shovel into the ground, throw a piece of it (earth) into the light of day, and let’s take the shovel and wave it past the reel.. (no pin and I’m not a fan). Here comes the long-awaited sound, ringing, even… Beauty… I crushed the lump in my hands, and there it lies, glittering) I look closer – a Soviet billon, twenty kopecks. Okay, I think, no matter how little silver it is, it’s always nice. I got up, put the find in the bag, filled the hole with my foot – I think I’ll wave it a couple more times, what if? There really is little hope… the signal – for some reason it wasn’t very good… But no, it beeps again next to the hole – it’s filled up! I dig again.. and what do I see! Three fell out at once!!! My heart is beating, my hands are shaking… what's underground? How many are there, are there still any, or is that all? Well, let's slowly dig… I took off my hat. Three, five, fifteen, twenty… I look and add… I look and rejoice, come on, grandfather, what a spring gift to the brothers. The younger Hodegetria has the Mother of God, and I have a scattering of billions! Then the comrades arrived… so, slowly, together they knocked out a patch. You never know, you never know. And then one hundred and fourteen coins of denominations of different early councils were accumulated.
It was a great joy for me, I experienced this for the first time!!! Moreover, our ancestors defeated the fascists on this day!!! We got home with joy, it was a good day! Only now my brother has a hangover, you can’t fool the bitter head… But the joy remained, it was real!!! All the best and happy finds!!!
