Near Crimea, a group of search engines came across a German fighter Messerschmidt Bf-109.
First, a propeller blade was discovered at a depth of two meters. Next — more and more metal plating fragments.
To the unpleasant surprise of the search engines (although who knows), in the cockpit there was a pilot in a leather jacket with the shoulder straps of a Luftwaffe lieutenant. Under the jacket — light beige shirt. Preservation of the pilot’s corpse at altitude. Apparently there used to be a crash site.

A «nut» was found on the pilot’s finger. with the family coat of arms. Hansik turned out to be of noble birth, or he simply wanted to appear so. Either way, it’s a good clue to identifying the body.

In the cockpit of the fighter, among other things, they found a parachute in good condition.
In the pilot’s pockets they found a wallet with paper money, a German-Russian phrasebook and (which is a little strange) a prayer book in Russian. The flyer’s tag hung on a cord as it should. The token padding (aka Erkennungsmarke in German) consists of numbers — a sure sign of the Luftwaffe. The pilot’s name can be found out through «People’s Union» Germany (Volksbund).
The German was packed to the highest standard; they were not allowed into the sky without a life jacket.
There was also a rubber boat with a funny bailer included.
