About the release of Coiltek reels for Whites (facts, proofs and only the truth+)
Sometimes it is useful to know foreign languages. Or better yet, several at once. 🙂 So, there was some news among diggers quite a long time ago (maybe about a month) that Coiltek suddenly for the first time began to produce a series of coils for Whites metal detectors (mainly metal detectors for gold). It was interesting to look at the reaction of many fans of sensations, but that’s not what this post is about. I decided to dig a little deeper and find out what the whole point is, why suddenly the famous coil manufacturer Coiltek, which previously produced coils only for Minelab, suddenly rolled out a line of coils for Whites?
Everything turned out to be simply disgraceful. The Whites TDI series devices have much in common with Minelab GPX devices in terms of content. News? Next — more: Standard Coiltek coils for the GPX series can be installed without any problems on Whites TDI due to the similarity of design, but what’s even funnier — Coils from Whites TDI can no longer be installed on Minelab GPX, apparently because of such simplicity of the solution, Coiltek decided to re-stick the labels and release an «updated» and «ready» ruler. Quite a good move, not to explain to everyone that the coils are suitable for Whites, it’s easier to stick a sticker, make a little fuss and sell it without any questions or difficulties, which is what Coiltek will do starting in December 2016.
Even with comments from owners of Whites TDI devices, who have been using Coiltek (Minelab GPX) coils on their Whites TDI for many years.
The proof is here.
After talking a little with Coiltek, it turned out that they don’t have any exclusive with Minelab, and they are not interested in making coils for other devices . (Question — why?, I don’t know the answer). About the rest of the comments on this topic, Coiltek reported that there were different news, calling them «stupid and ridiculous». I don’t know, maybe they’re right.
