It would seem that many people think that in order to find treasure you need to get a good metal detector. And the concept of “good” usually means “dear”. But no, this is not so, most of the treasures were found with inexpensive entry-level metal detectors!

One guy from Ukraine was walking around a detective spot (he definitely didn’t have a lead on the treasure) with his Teknetics Eurotek PRO and a Nel Hunter coil – it would seem not an XP Deus in his hands, and came across a signal. What the signal was and whether the decision to “dig” was easy will remain in history, but the fact remains that the digger brought to light a whole bunch of silver coins from the Middle Ages! Hooray!
Deep pit and excavation. Did you think that a whole bag of coins would lie right on the surface and you wouldn’t have to dig? Lifting a treasure is hard work; from experience, I can say that lifting a treasure can take several days in a row, and next year you can still come back and lift a few coins that you didn’t find right away.
Beauty! Basically, the coins were from the era of Sigismund the Third (there was a great character in history, read).
Poltoraki and trojaki, it is unknown whether there were and how many solidi there were. Judging by the composition of the treasure, solidi should have been the most common circulation coins of that time.
Eurotek is a good device. It did not become the ICQ killer, but it is a worthy competitor to all ACE series metal detectors. Add a stronger coil (like here – Nel) and an increase in finds is guaranteed.
The main principle of any cop is to first find a place to dig. The place should be promising – for example, an old road, an old field, a place where there was a tavern, and so on. Then – yourself. The effectiveness of a cop depends on your ability to understand and work with your device. An experienced digger with Eurotek PRO will outperform a beginner with a Deus in terms of finds. And only then come the qualities of your device.
In total, the digger picked up 527 coins. Bag cleaner! However, I am sure that we need to dig more there – new coins will come out.
