Last week in Germany, the IWA 2018 exhibition was held, which was initially an exhibition purely for weapons and for the civilian market, but then grew into a regular outdoors exhibition, in which manufacturing companies and major players in the market of civilian products for active recreation and lifestyle. Manufacturers of metal detectors also attended this exhibition. Let’s start with First Texas Products.

As you know, the First Texas Products concern includes several well-known brands, among metal detectors these are Fisher Lab, Teknetics and Bounty Hunter, and among night vision — Nivisys and Night Owl. Nivisys is more of a system for the police and military, while Night Owl represents products for the mass civilian market.

We visited their stand, saw what was new, what was planned and there was some very good news!

The only difference in the new products is the improved firmware and minor changes in design.

Nothing new was added from night vision.

Many devices were brought for security structures — inspection metal detectors, arched devices for security.

The company’s line of night vision devices is quite interesting, but is already a little stuck in the old design of the late 2000s.

From the news — It became known that the First Texas concern is preparing as many as 5 models of new metal detectors operating on a fundamentally new scheme! And all the company’s resources are now directed to the development of this technology, which, according to them, has come to its logical conclusion and final testing. We managed to find out that the company will not develop a line of universal metal detectors, but will present to diggers completely unique developments for a specific type of search — Beachgoers, gold seekers, coin and relic diggers will not miss the spot. All models will be professional metal detectors in the price class between the XP Deus and Minelab CTX 3030.

We managed to look at the design, look at the work of the new technology and yes, guys, it’s just a bomb! There have never been such metal detectors with great depth, object detection accuracy and performance on the market!
