I saw a lot of different treasures: coins, weapons, and women’s jewelry with jewelry. But I have never found hidden church utensils, but I would like to see and find them, interesting and unusual.
We look at photos, finds of crosses, icons and other utensils that were probably hidden at the beginning or end of the Civil War, or already during the destruction of churches in Soviet Russia.
The story itself from those who found it:
The spirit is filled, ours are certainly not very good compared to the general background, but we got our dose of adrenaline («we» this is not because we are of the royal family: D, we just go with our son, sometimes with my wife) got. Our first. Everything was as usual. Autumn, slush, dirt, a plowed field and on the edge a couple of houses on three. On our last visit, having thoroughly cleaned the huts, we went to the edge of the field along a different route, and came across a powerful but deep signal. Having dug about half a meter, they were about to stop throwing this plasticine, but the detector showed that there was just a little bit left, and they finally dug up. The result is about 16 kg of nickel silver, enamels, silver, gilding and stones, the central frame is slightly less than a meter.
Quite a big treasure!
And this is after cleaning. Everything is as it should be, slightly affected by time, looks natural and pleasing to the eye. I don’t know what happened next with the treasure, if anyone knows, write and I’ll add it!
