Garrett became generous in 2016 and released a complete update of its budget line of devices, thereby replacing its legendary Acis 150, 250 and Euro (350). On the part of diggers, there is already a noticeably ambiguous attitude towards new devices, because the conservatism of comrades will be difficult to break through with new and updated devices. I see the new Garretts as an attempt to make the Garrett AT PRO cheaper by removing some of the features from it. In fact, it is an interesting and good solution, since the old ICQ is, of course, good, but as a device it is far from ideal. It is very difficult to explain the popularity of Aska; most likely, everything was just an ordinary coincidence and Aska became a sales leader for many years to come. No matter how hard the competitors fought, they still couldn’t oust ICQ. Let’s see if Garrett himself can cope with such a task?
