Yesterday I had the good fortune to touch and test the new Asya 400i. It came in a box like this with an idyllic picture of Roman denarii against a backdrop of green meadows. So be it. I’ll tell you about the kit and the contents of the box. I admit right away — he made me happy!
Opened the box. Everything is neatly placed in its own cells. We see the device itself, headphones, a rod, a warranty sheet, instructions and a case in the package. The coil with protection is hidden at the bottom. Now everything is in order…
The working unit of the device with a display and keys. By the way, now the new Asya also shows VDI in the center of the screen. Four batteries are already inserted, so all that remains is to screw on the rod with the coil and go into battle. The rod is quite long. With my height of 190 cm, I didn’t have to crouch in the field.
DD PROformance ACE coil. This play on words in the Busurman dialect means «effective, productive». The size of the reel is 28 x 22 cm. The reel is waterproof, it can be put into funnels, streams, etc. You will find a plastic bolt with rubber washers and a nut in a small bag.
This kit includes a coil protector. I advise you to immediately tighten it so as not to break it on stones or large iron protruding from the ground (as an option). I can’t remember without shuddering the reel of my old Garrett GTP 1350, it didn’t have such protection.
Necessary item included — case. I advise you to immediately put it on the device to protect it from moisture and dirt. In this form you can dig in rain and slush. It fastens with Velcro at the bottom, so it can be easily removed and put back on if you need to replace the batteries, for example.
I definitely liked the headphones! I’ve already tried them out. I walked through the fields for three to four hours. The headphones do not fall off, the ears do not hurt, the wire is conveniently spiral-shaped (!), and does not dangle anywhere. Moreover, everything is regulated.
Finally, on the papers included. The device has a 2-year warranty. There are also instructions. The book is quite dense and contains a lot of interesting things. It is highly recommended to read it before going out to the mine, so as not to be stupid and not guess with the necessary settings. I have it in English, but there should also be an option in Russian.
