Comrades, fireworks! Recently I wrote news about a new product that one Bulgarian store has released a new modification of the Golden Mask 4 PRO, an analog metal detector, which in the world of search engines was nicknamed the «Kalashnikov metal detector», for its reliability, unpretentiousness, simplicity and search qualities. This modification was released by the store «MDetectors» in Bulgaria and you can only buy such an analogue from him (such an exclusive product)! Link to store. This analogue now costs 337 euros, which is not much, but at the same time it has quite a rich set of equipment!
The device, like all Golden Mask models, is supplied in a black and bright box with the company logo:
The box contains all the necessary kit for a metal detector:
In a small white box inside are new WS-106 wireless headphones from Golden Musk — they updated the headphones and released a new model that fits more comfortably on the head and has larger mugs.
There is also a charger for headphones in the box. Wireless technology has been used by Golden Mask for a long time!
Included are two waterproof cases — one on the detector unit, and the other on the battery compartment located under the armrest.
The covers are comfortable, fit quickly and easily.
Naturally, the box contains the device itself, folded and with a bolt for the coil with seals installed on the rod. The kit comes with 10 AA batteries and a smart charger included. The batteries are charged directly from the battery compartment; there is no need to remove them to charge. This solution is present in all Golden Mask metal detectors.
The kit also includes a feature of this modification — coil Detech SEF DD 12″x10″ (30×25 cm).
The coil is a good size for a universal search and weighs only 581 g. The device weighs around a kilogram (without the coil). The total weight is 1.4-1.5 kg. Not much!
Why an analog metal detector? Moreover, such a simple one and maximum with two-tone voice acting? And everything is simple — You have to somehow force yourself to dig more signals, otherwise while you’re looking at VDI in different promising places, you’re looking for a more or less normal signal, but you can’t do that on a mine. You have to dig for a lot of signals and knock out particularly promising places completely. An analog metal detector allows you to do this.
It also seems very interesting for a cop in the forest, where there are few signals and there is no need to bother your head with all sorts of VDI values. You will also need to check this metal detector for functionality on the beach — through the air it gave excellent depth to a small gold ring, and such a target is problematic for most digital metal detectors.
