Hornbills in camouflage, a super find from France (photo+)
This time we were pleased with the French guys! German helmets from the First World War in excellent condition and camouflage color were raised in France. An extraordinary find! A greasy garbage dump of the Kaiser’s army was discovered at the site; mountains of casons, gas masks and flasks were visible. Not a bad preservation at all for objects that have lain in the ground for more than a hundred years!
We first read about this place purely by chance in a letter from a French soldier, and then found out about it from a local old farmer. The caskets have been washed and now they are just a sight to behold! We admire…
