So, gentlemen, friends and ladies! Some time ago (about 6 months ago, approximately), on some sites there was a link to update 4.1 for the XP Deus metal detector, but it was a completely crude update and it was actually called 4.12 and something like that. Now a new update is available, version 4.1, it works stably and this is no longer Alpha, but the very best Beta.

Now what’s new in this update, what changes were there:
V4.1 — List of fixes and improvements:
- The connection between the MI-6 pinpointer and the XP Deus metal detector has become faster and more stable.
- Added a new item to the menu «Ground Sensitivity»/»Ground sensitivity» in BG>Expert settings
The new setting allows you to configure the detector’s ability to track soil based on its composition. This made it possible to avoid constant monitoring of soil with low mineralization. (Improved ground tracking without losing too much depth).
Ground sensitivity low (1 to 5):
Weakly mineralized ground is now ignored and XP Deus does not track the ground and will not show ground balance, but will be at the recommended level.
Ground sensitivity high (from 6 to 10):
XP Deus will track even weakly mineralized ground.
Attention: Do not overestimate the soil sensitivity indicator, since its high value leads to greater instability and incorrect ground balance. Levels 1 to 5 are recommended, they will give you better stability than previous versions of the metal detector.

If the XP Deus does not register the ground level within 7 seconds or receives a level lower than the set «Ground Sensitivity» for a time greater than 7 seconds, — —
Ground tracking:
If the XP Deus no longer measures ground effect for 30 seconds then the ground balance level will be set to the default level of 88 for greater detector stability.
For example, the ground value will be set to the default level under the condition:
- The soil is insufficiently mineralized
- If the mineralization level is lower than the setting «Ground sensitivity»
- Or if you finish searching.
As you continue searching or if the ground mineralization changes, XP Deus will continue to track the ground and display the measured value.
Attention: HF coil (white, high frequency) does not require updating at the moment.
