Unlike other metal detectors that have pre-installed search programs and not very much freedom in changing settings, the XP Deus metal detector allows you to accelerate the device to the maximum for use on any soil and any digging conditions. Of course, the device is not the deepest in terms of depth, but depth is not important where other metal detectors cannot see certain targets, for example — small scales and medieval silver, gold, small jewelry. All the coins of Catherine the Great have already been raised with the simplest metal detectors, which means we have no choice but to look for small change in the fields and in littered places. We’ll talk about Deus settings for trash cans.

Trash and trash are different, and that’s true. There is a trash can, which we process as standard and remove signal after signal, and there is a littered place where iron lies mixed with corks, flower beds and other garbage in the fields, and among these targets we need to find useful targets.
If we are digging in a field with an HF coil, like mine, and the field is abundantly sown with iron and non-ferrous debris, then I recommend using the following program, which I called «PARK»:

Now to the ground settings: Tracking, pro – cutting out the ground, don’t cut anything out, ground sensitivity 5 (depending on your digging spot). Manual 88.
This program allows us to easily work on a littered field and not lose depth, which is very important in such places, and tenacity for small things (especially those lying deep).

There is another option. You can use the basic setting «Deus quickly», it is quite good in the trash. But you can make some more changes to it:

It’s better to adjust each of the settings on the spot based on your conditions of the mine and the field and the degree of debris.

Now let’s talk about voicing targets. The versatility of XP Deus is just one of the bonuses, another bonus is the customization of voice acting for different purposes. Very often, after an hour or two of digging, we begin to miss some signals. You will think about something, look at something, anything can happen. Signals are lost, concentration drops, findings are missed. It’s simple. To prevent this from happening, it’s better to adjust the voice acting in Deus to suit you.
For example, let’s take 5 tones, which interruptions I use, in order, from top to bottom:

800 — Silver sounds great.
Always adjust the voice frequency settings to your taste, but it is better to make quite noticeable differences between them so that you can immediately pick up useful signals by ear!
