Minelab Equinox settings – how to overclock your metal detector to maximum performance? (Programs+)

Minelab Equinox, a sensational new product this year, what’s so special about it? In general, I’m so far convinced that this device searches and finds. The price, yes, is a bit high, but if it were lowered a little it would be even better. But this is not the main thing — read soon the review of the most sensational metal detector of this year, but for now, what are the main settings for this metal detector?

We tested the Minelab Equinox 800 and found that the most optimal settings for achieving the best depth in everyday searching is the following program:

Program: Field 2
Ground Balance: 0
Frequency: Multi-IQ
Volume: 25
Tones volume: T1 = 1 T2 = 25 T3 = 25 T4 = 25 T5 = 25
Sensitivity: 22 (20 in more trashy areas)
Target extraction speed: 3
Iron indicator: 3
Number of tones: 5
Tone Break: T1 = 2 T2 = 9 T3 = 18 T4 = 25
Pitch: T1 = 1 T2 = 10 T3 = 18 T4 = 22 T5 = 24
Threshold: 1
Threshold Pitch: 1
Discriminance: -9 to 40 (without clipping)

In general, these settings should be sufficient for everyday and productive searching.

Other Equinox settings:

CTX 3030 key. If you switched to Equinox after 3030, then this setting will help you better understand what targets Equinox finds, that is, make them as close as possible to 3030 in terms of tone and interruption:

Iron indicator: 3-5 (Start with 4 and then decrease or increase based on conditions)
