You can’t even catch a fish out of a pond without difficulty! (Competitive story of a digger!)
This next weekend I decided to indulge in my hobby and go to the country. The path was long, but what can you do for your favorite hobby? My story began on Friday, when after a day of work, arriving home, I quickly collected the necessary things and rushed on the road. After all, we had to travel two and a half hours by train, plus forty minutes by car from the platform. That day the weather was unclear, sometimes it was raining, sometimes the sun was shining. Having boarded the train and having traveled half the way, the sky was completely overcast and it began to rain, which got stronger and stronger. And then an incident occurred – the train began to flood! Water was pouring all over the carriage from one vestibule to another! Everyone was shocked! When the train arrived at the desired station, I immediately prepared to leave. But when I got out into the vestibule, a waterfall awaited me as the train slowed down, which poured out of the door of the passage between the cars! Having overcome the waterfall, I walked out into an equally terrible hurricane, which was accompanied by torrential rain and heavy winds! And of course I was wet to the last thread by the time I got to the car. Getting into the car, I thought that all the difficulties had been overcome, but that was not the case! On the way, when we were already driving to the house, a large pine tree fell on the road right in front of us! Luckily, we managed to slow down in time and drive around the tree on the side of the road from oncoming traffic! That day the adventure ended.
The morning of the next day began with an early rise, since we still had to get to the treasured place. And then the moment came when we went to a cherished place, where in ancient times people lived, children ran around, festivities took place, perhaps there were fist fights, in general, life was in full swing. And now in this place there remains a field on which rye grows. The path was not easy, since the places were unfamiliar to us before, and the navigator always led us in the wrong direction. Having figured out the navigator and asked local residents in one village, we still took the right course. And before reaching the place just a little bit, in a neighboring field we met a flock of cranes, which were apparently feeding before a long flight. There were about fifty cranes in that flock. It was an unforgettable picture!
I wanted to watch and observe these beauties, but there was no time to waste and I had to move on. Having reached the landing point, I took everything I needed and went to look for that same village, and my friend went fishing. To be honest, I didn’t expect the path to be so difficult. I had to walk about two kilometers through terrain unknown to me. Having walked halfway across the field, a forest appeared in front of me. After checking the maps and landscape of the area, I moved on. Having walked quite a bit through the forest, I came across an old river, from which there was a small ravine, in which there was still some water left. Having chosen the most suitable area for crossing, I nevertheless overcame this ravine. But not everything is so simple, because behind this ravine there was a terrible weed, where there were a lot of nettles, burdocks two meters high and a lot of other vegetation! And all this way I was in constant tension and extreme caution, since I was apparently walking along an animal path. Having reached the treasured place, it took me about 15 minutes to determine the location of the old village and catch my breath a little. Having assembled the metal detector, I began the search. For about thirty minutes I dug through all sorts of debris, from wire to cans of cans, which the tractor drivers sowed here. But then the moment came when the cherished confident signal was heard and with a sinking heart, I began to dig. Once again I was ready to be upset, but that was not the case! And now the treasured round stones can be seen from the hole! Hurray, the treasured coin! It turned out to be 1 kopeck in 1800. Having moved very close to the place of the first discovery, another signal sounded, but this time it was weak, similar to a wire signal. Having dug up this signal, and having broken the clod of earth in which the target was, a female cross petal was born!
Joy knew no bounds and with new strength, I continued my search. After 10 minutes, a deafening signal sounded, which screamed at me with such a frantic scream, “Dig, this is a treasure!” After digging once, digging twice, the signal was still in the hole. And then my imagination took flight… I think, well, is it really him! Having gone a little deeper, I came across a large metal object. With great excitement, I started digging for this item! Ugh, this is a simple piece of cast iron! Upset, but not desperate, I moved on… And then the moment came when it was already dark and I had to go back to the car. This time I decided to take a different path, a detour. To my happiness, this path turned out to be much easier and simpler, although a little longer. The way back to the car, as well as to the house, was without incident. As a result, in the two days that I walked there, I found about 20 coins, several crosses and one body icon.
I was very pleased with the result! I plan to visit that place again, as it is quite promising!
Thank you all very much for your attention and good luck!
