First coin output with Fisher F75

I previously wrote about the new Fisher F75 — collected here.

A couple of weeks ago we had a thaw and it was a great time to try it out. It didn’t take me long to think that my friend and I went to a known plowing field near an ancient village. The place never ceases to delight us with its finds. It’s always nice to know that a place guarantees interesting signals, not at all like in reconnaissance.

As for the settings, I tried to turn up the sensitivity almost to the maximum — 97. At the same time, so that the device does not emit too much noise on everything, set the discrimination level to 5 (DISC. LEVEL). Number of tones — four. I don’t dare to judge yet how ideal this combination is, but for a start it’s tolerable.

There is an opinion that when you walk through history or through coins in ancient fields, you need to reduce discrimination to zero in order to hear absolutely all the signals and use them to decide whether or not to dig. The idea is of course reasonable, but for the first time you want a little simplicity and not digging nails when your comrade has only coins nearby 😉

The first strong color signal was a strange cone-shaped button. The button itself — copper, but the loop in the center was apparently made of iron and rotted at the ends. Strange thing. Here she is in the photo below.

Then it went as usual… The strongest riding signals. Healthy green round logs are dear to the heart, although it’s absolutely impossible to see the dog’s dick! Fragments of monograms indicate Katka and Lizavetka, size — for a denomination of two kopecks. Not nickels of course, but nice! 😉

By chance I managed to catch a good signal separation. As it turned out later, there was money lying, and very close to the right there was a garbage iron signal. Without being on «you» with his Fisher F75, was able to easily identify this catch.

From what I didn’t like — I got excited with four tones. Out of habit, it was difficult to listen to the device. It’s better to start with two tones or three. At four I started to get confused, I must have missed something.

As a result, after a couple of hours of walking, we found three coins, a sea king parakeet with an anchor, and a couple of strange objects. Final photo below.

Already at home I spent a long time and persistently shamanizing over coins. As a result, it was possible to overcome the thick coating of greenery. As I expected — two kopecks of Catherine 1763 MM, two kopecks of Elizabeth 17… (the year is thoroughly erased) and denga of 1734.

I collect all the information on the Fisher F75 device here.
