Asya, the gun and the curse of cabbage (photo+)

I went to wave the new Asya 400i with a «gun» three or four times. from CORS Labs, aka the new Cannon reel, not to be confused with a camera. 😉

I must admit, at first I was confused. The coil began to produce noise; it was necessary to reduce the sensitivity by at least three sticks. Further, knowledgeable comrades suggested that we should set the frequency to F4! This is one of the four frequencies presented in the Asa, I have no problems with it, although before this the device was openly fouling even with the stock coil.

And now I’m already testing a new set. To begin with, I decided to walk through a dubious field. It had been plowed for a long time, and there had been almost no finds on it before. Nevertheless, my stubbornness triumphed and I found a good signal, and not even one. Here it is, green cabbage! 2 kopecks, Alexander I. I don’t know about you, but for me this is a real punishment. I’m probably cursed by them, nothing less! Haha 🙂 Why wasn’t I cursed with Katya’s silver ruble???

2 kopeck coin

Joke aside, but the instruments see the coin well, it’s not some kind of scale. The metal is thick and appears to be of good quality. Place it carefully in your pocket and move on…

During this season I collected about 30 pieces. I managed to sort them out and even found a couple of very good preserved ones, which naturally makes me happy.

Meanwhile, at the edge of the field I found a good signal, but not royal copper. Taking the object off, I was stunned for a moment, trying to understand what it was.

Panagia

On the side I found an obvious trace of a broken hinge, I began to scour around, but I couldn’t find anything. I’ve marked the place, I’ll have to check in with the deep explorer.

Later it turned out that this is nothing more than panagia from the 18th century! This is a copper icon of Our Lady of the Sign, which was worn by bishops. That’s a turnaround. Our locals preach Protestantism, so this is undoubtedly a rare thing for our region. I googled and found what this panagia looked like before.

There was also a funny trip with Dusya. «Divine» my friend got it. At first, he plays with the settings, which Deus has in abundance, everyone boasts…

It was decided to check out our trump spot, namely a hiding place near a large church. A couple of months ago or more, cereals were sprouting on it, but now they have been harvested. Here is the answer to the pressing question «where to dig?» — look for old churches and break through fields in the area, you will probably find a decent spot with coin boxes!

Last time, we brought out ten coins from this field in a couple of hours per brother, apparently the place was lively in the old days. And now the signals came one after another. I’m with the same Asya 400i with a CORS Labs Cannon coil, a friend with a Deus’ohm. I’ve already heard about serious devices that take a long time to get used to and learn the settings over and over again. As a result of the short trip, I ended up with about a dozen coins, and my friend got exactly half that. The coins are mostly empire. Yes, I also picked up a thin silver ring, it was also nice. It may, of course, be wrong, but I’m not a big fan of filling my head with a lot of nuances. For me, it’s better to take a simple device, it will be more accurate. And the smell is just conducive to this. Let there be more coins in the depths, they will be in time next year, I can’t escape anywhere 😉

I am attaching a photo of some of the finds. I didn’t take pictures of the rest, we were in a hurry to go home.

ACE 400i + CORS Labs Cannon

Summarizing my impressions of the Garret ACE 400i device and the CORS Cannon coil, I will say that the set left only positive impressions. I will definitely go out with him again. A large reel on the field is extremely convenient, the weight of the Cannon reel is not large, it is practically not felt, and Asya itself weighs nothing compared to some other devices. Stay tuned for future reports, but that’s all for today. Walk more and interesting finds will not keep you waiting! Good luck on the cop!
