As already written — «what is a blog without a grater»? Especially when I had a huge practical interest in checking out this popular device. I made an agreement with a local dealer and bought it as a kit with a standard 10.5″ coil at 7.5 kHz (DD coil, naturally), and additionally a coil 15″ Minelab coil at 3 kHz. We need good tools to clean the fields in the season when the harvest has already been harvested. Naturally, I read a lot of forums before buying a detector and realized that without a cover for the device in our weather, going out to dig — You can just immediately drown the detector yourself without any questions. Fast and efficient. I decided to look for a case. I went back to my metal detector dealer and found that he had covers on sale, but at a price of 30 euros. Paying 30 euros just for a cover seemed a little expensive to me (and to be honest, quite expensive!) and I decided to search the Internet for craftsmen who sew covers for detectors at a good price.

And I found it! Of course, the joy knew no bounds, but at one of the digging communities on VK I saw a competition that covers for detectors were being raffled off, and the sponsor of the competition was the manufacturer of the covers — Roman Shalabanov. It was a little unreasonable to order a pig in a poke, so I decided to look at the reviews on its covers. Reviews were found on the reviewdetector — forum. Roman’s topic on the forum with reviews, I decided to write to him. The asking price turned out to be very favorable and I ordered a cover. Delivery to Estonia from Bryansk took 10 days, approximately quite quickly. I was even surprised at the work of the Russian Post. 🙂
What can I say about the case? The materials used to create it were of very high quality, it is clear that it was made to last for years and can be used for a long time in the field. More photos:
The stitching is good, the zipper is also good, not a cheap Chinese one, which is difficult to fasten and unfastens. There were no zipper snags either.
When I showed the comrade on the mine, the comrade was surprised that how it was so transparent and durable film is used in the manufacture of the case. I talked about the price and Roman, now the comrade is also taking a case for himself.
Everything is easy to see through the film, easy to read and the buttons are pressed without any problems. Naturally, if you work with gloves and always press the buttons on the cop, then you will have to wipe the cover; this is a fairly normal thing with any cover for the detector unit. The main thing for me is that I was satisfied, saved money and now I am calm about my new Terochka. I’ll write about it and my findings with it soon. 😉
