Garrett Pro Pointer AT Z Lynk is a new pinpointer from Garrett! (photos and data+)
It seems that 2018 is the year of pinpointers. New pinpointers from Fisher/Teknetics began to go on sale, then XP Detectors released MI4, now Garrett brings an update to his popular «carrot» To the market. So, meet — The new Garrett PRO Pointer AT Z-Lynk will be available soon.
What’s new? According to the technical data, the old carrot has been thoroughly redesigned and, most importantly, the Z-Lynk wireless connection function has been added, and it can connect to any module, no matter whether it’s Garrett MS wireless headphones -3 or Z-Lynk module receiver — the pinpointer will connect in any case.
This, of course, is good news for all Garrett fans who use wireless modules or have already purchased the new Garrett AT MAX metal detector.
For the rest — it’s still the same carrot.
However — Among the changes, the carrot is now available for immersion up to 6 meters (previously it was up to 3) and can operate in a wider temperature range — from minus 20 to plus 54 degrees Celsius.
And the crown will still work on one battery.
Glad news? The idea of connecting a pinpointer to headphones was first implemented in MI6 from XP, and now all manufacturers want to build something new and their own in this area. The price tag fluctuates around $160 dollars, but it is likely that it will be sold cheaper.
