Nokta PulseDive / Scuba Pointer – a quick look at a versatile pinpointer!

It seems that the Turkish company Nokta-Makro is reaching a completely new level, simultaneously starting to offer a universal pinpointer for digging both on land (an assistant in determining the position of targets) and for underwater digging at depths of up to 60 m (scary to think!). What is the new product?

Supplied in a case. It would not be surprising if the production model had a different case; such things are common in production and the case is just an additional accessory.

The case contains the pin itself with a nozzle for searching underwater (mini-coil), and with a regular spout for ground searching.

The ends of the pin are interchangeable, that is, you change them to suit your requirements and the needs of the cop. Comfortable!

From an underwater pin, the pinpointer turns into a ground pin for regular searching.

Like all pinpointers for 2019, this pin also has a built-in battery that can be charged via a USB connector.

Included with the ground attachment is a special cover to protect the tip of the pin from damage.

There is also a non-lost training bag and a case for carrying the pinpointer on your belt. The case has a special ring for gripping the carabiner on the training bag.

Buttons. Using the buttons, you can turn the pin on/off, change modes/sensitivity, control the wireless connection to Nokta headphones (yes, there is a connection to headphones), enable the deep-sea search mode (the buttons are blocked from pressing under water pressure, there is such a thing, yes!) , all the details can be found in the instructions, but I’ll say right away that everything is controlled using three buttons, even the operation of the LEDs on the pinpointer!

And this is with the weight of the pin itself being 280 grams, and the weight of the pinpointer with a mini coil being 419 grams.

In terms of price – in Europe it will cost about 199 euros, in the USA – $199 dollars. The first sales will begin in April 2019, that is, already now!

What do you think about the new product? As for me, it’s very fire!
