Sensitivity recommendations
Some recommendations considering the device sensitivity adjustments. Choose the optimal value using simple rule: set the sensitivity value as high as possible without losing search stability. Do not try to always set it to maximum depth. It can lead to high amount of phantom signals, which will prevent you from finding any targets at all, even ones detectable with lower sensitivity. It is also recommended to lower sensitivity in areas with lots of metal scrap, but ST level should not be lower than 11. On lower ST levels the device will identify adjacent targets much worse. So when you work in an area with a lot of metal trash and you are looking for coins, the ST setting should be set at 11 or higher. And device sensitivity should be adjusted by lowering current and gain. After lowering sensitivity with this method, you will still maintain good detection and target identification.
